Default How to enable V-Sync???

FRAPS shows me 60fps constantly, but it is tearing like hell...

Can I put v-sync on somewhere? In a config file or .ini file somewhere???

I use steam version

there is a file located in
C:\Users\*****\Documents\My Games\PP3\PP3WorkGame\Config\PP3WorkCompat

now with this when you open this file there are "buckets", by buckets its referring to in game "Quality" graphics settings you will notice if you go into the game the one slider(sry cant open game ATM not at home so trying to describe best as possible!) you can slide that X amount of times . count from the left for each slide over,go one at a time and count from left to right, once you know how many times, you now can go into the PP3 file and scroll down lets say that you have the lowest setting its gonna look like this.. and scroll down look "use vsync. i will have annotations to the right..
now if ya notice this is bucket 1 so its lowest settings ,once you find this file and you can see the default settings for the the highest settings and compare the two as to what is and whats not disabled.

kk I understand

Strange I can't see my Signature... (it will show the hardware I have)
I did change it in my profile settings... --> EDIT: seems like it's only showing until next post --> not like overclock.net forum
P8P67 Deluxe (B3)
2600K @ 5.2GHz OC
2x 4Gb Vengenace 1866MHz
2x ASUS GTX470 SLi @ 800/1600/2000 OC

So I think it's the highest bucket :p --> all my settings are slided to the right in the graphic options (except the gamma )

Can't I just set ALL buckets in the same way? Then it's always correct, no?

But I will set vsync TRUE
D3D10 is FALSE atm. I prolly leave this false since I'm Dx11 soft/hardware?
Why is res 1024x768 in my file? --> In game it's 1920x1200...

K now at least I know where the file is, I can mod it

THX!!!

EDIT: Update --> vsync TRUE is better, but the tearing is not gone

I also put every v-sync bucket into TRUE in the 2 files, located at:

C:\Users\ASUSfreak\Documents\My Games\PP3\PP3WorkGame\Config\PP3WorkCompat

and

D:\Steam\steamapps\common\off-road drive\PP3WorkGame\Config\DefaultCompat

just because your hardware CAN run dx11(mine can easily) the game it self does not just auto run as DX11,if the game is set to run default D9 then it will run D9 unless you change it to D10, i haven't looked into it much yet so cant say 100% fact but i don't think this game can even run in D11
and yes there are two file locations i would only worry about the one i pointed out no need to change both locations.
and i hope you made a back up before making every bucket the same cause the game needs those different settings as benchmarks.
as for the dif res. i am not sure as to why it wouldn't match up correctly, my GF has been over this weekend so really haven't gone digging further to look for mods and files for modding.
will try and get more answers later.
EDIT:
screen tearing still exist , double check your graphics card settings and make sure it isn't forcing any kind of graphics, make sure it is set to let the game run as is. or try to lower the forced settings to run smoother with the game.

Yes I know that but it was just a bit confusing when I read: DISABLE Dx10...

Could have meant: When ENABLED, it runs in DX10 mode in stead of Dx11 mode

But wiil ENABLE it now so it prolly looks even better...

And no I did not back-up the files... But the only thing I changed was TRUE for the V-Sync stuff...

Will update soon...

Download Nvidia Inspector and enable v sync and tribble buffering as shown on pic 4, remember to select the right profile and add the the game exe file as shown.

Hmm weird... I DID reply earlier this day but it never posted I see...
As always I forgot that you can do that in Inspector lol... I use it for overclocking hehe...

Anyway, when I tried your Inspector stuff it was way better! The tearing itself was gone, but then I had microstutter after every 10 seconds playing...

But then I changed some options of the SLi as well and now it runs flawlessly!!!
(Sometimes, like 5% per race, the fps drops to 45fps for a second or 2, but I can live with that )

Thank you soooo much dude!

EDIT: --> LOOOOOOOL I know again I replied on your post above (on the link)
