TIR however I find to be just a nice addition. Tried it out, liked it very much, don`t have money for it to this day. Didn`t stop me from being a top LW ace though.
You'd probably be just that much better with one

oh, and about TS, join a squad. il2 is nothing until you join a squad. there are plenty out there, and a lot are on constat recruit with LOTS of training programs.

19" CRT here (hey! Don't laugh. It keeps me warm in the winter months) and Track IR has worked flawlessly since version 1. When FB incorporated ENHANCED Tr. IR mode, I never had a problem with centering or situational awareness. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I've bought a track ir 5 along with the track clip, such an improvement.
Might jump on ATAG's ts when I am going to fly online.

But for the track ir users I recomment a track clip pro, better than the track clip wich goes on a cap.

Well, your head doesn't get as hot and itchy in warm weather with a pro-clip, but my pro-clip broke because they're actually made of cheap cheese.

So now I have to fly with a hot and itchy napper.

P.S. As it happens, I think there are too many wires around with a pro-clip, they always seem to get in the way, no matter what I do.

That's really weird. I just plugged mine in, clipped it to my headphones, opened up the tir screen where you see the reflection and head movement.

I press F12 to reset to center posiiton before i start the game and usually every now and then in game so it re-callibrates my center view. It is flawless.

LOOOOVE IT and never a problem.

TIP of the day. If you have TrackIR and pro clip. tape the wires to your headphone wires so they don't get in the way and can't break

Wot? you don't think I did? The thing is made of cheese I tells yer.

It wasn't the wires that broke, it was the poxy 1mm thick plastic clip things in the pokey bit. You''ll remember these words, I promise!
