How to play other maps

I like to play the DLC maps that come with the game or on steam in multi player but i like to play against the "AI". How do i go about doing that? I went to multi player. I checked "LAN" i picked a map but it seems i have to play against someone else to be able to play.

I'm asking because i hate the missions and i like to play other maps. Also I've seen other people play on youtube.

In other words how can i play Men At War without playing the missions?

You want to play the multiplayer DLC maps as single player? That's what's called "Skirmish". Go to multiplayer, start a game, choose a map and swich it to "skirmish" (others are Battle, Assault zones, Day of Defeat etc.). Start it. Have fun.
