Default Resize Map Window

How do you make the map window smaller.
I can move the window around the screen and can zoom to make the map a smaller or larger scale but cannot find info on how to make the window smaller.
Any one have the correct key assignments please.

Sorry, that's not possible.

Thanks for your reply Aviar.

Am almost certain that some time ago my map came up on the screen as a square, but now after installing game to a newer PC the map comes up in a rectangle shape. Anyway, if not possible to change will have to put up with it. Maybe a project for TD at some stage. Thanks again.

I'm wondering if, at the time, you may have been messing with your widescreen settings in the conf file. If you applied the incorrect resolution for your monitor, your picture could have appeared as 'stretched', horizontally.

This would have the effect of making the map frame look less rectangular and more square.

Good call Aviar.
Am currently running in 1920x1200 so for a little experiment changed back to my old settings of 1024x768 and low and behold the square map window appeared. Did not consider the resolution change would effect the map window. Query solved. Much appreciated.
