Wow!! Those Great IL-2 Movies
Oh man... I had forgotten just how good some of the community produced IL-2 movies are.
I was digging through the good old M4T treasure chest this evening and came across some really great IL-2 movies that I hadn't thought about for a while that are definitely worth a serious look. Here are the links: Spitfire by "Maximum Bob" http://www.mission4today.com/index.p...details&id=938 Come With Me by "RC_Kedik" http://www.mission4today.com/index.p...details&id=834 Two classics that should be on everyones hard drive (if you're serious that is). Cheers, CrazySchmidt. |

Yep got them both, but a few others need to be there too. Heres one, I'm at work or I'd be able to list a couple more, but I need to see them to actually remember the titles.
Deadliest Enemy of All = by Direwolf it actually won an OLEG award. http://www.netwings.org/library/Forg.../index-12.html

There is no need to recreate the wheel or expend effort tracking down movies.
The Flight Sim Machinima website was established precisely for the purpose of providing links to stream or download the Best-of-the-Best movies ever produced from the IL2-FB-PF-1946 series. Among many others (at last count a total of 60 movies are catalogued at FSM), the three movies mentioned in the preceding two posts are at FSM. http://flightsimmachinima.montydan.com/ Also, with regard to IL2 series movies and a request for recognition by Maddox 1C, see this recent thread: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/viewtopic.php?t=312 |

I must say, I was blown away when I saw the Faith, Hope and Charity. Now that is art!

These videos are really great. Looking at them you realize what a gem IL2 is... I remember playing Fighter Pilot on the Spectrum in the early eighties - I wouldn't have dreamt in my wildest dreams what 25 years of software and hardware development would lead to. In a quick glimpse you think that you are looking at a real aviation movie! Olegs words about BoB beeing possible to use for rendering combat scenes for real movies makes me think about what these talented movie makers will come up with!
