patch exe doesn't run

Bought game online.
Want to patch the game.
Patch.exe wont run.

windows 7 64bit.

*read the useless post on how to patch the game,it is shit.
wtf is the secret,how do i ******* patch this game hey?

okay the ardour of battle has worn off.
What dosen't work is selecting online ingame (which is part of the instructions for aquiring the patch/s) nothing happens when i press the 'online' button.
So my patching process fails.

I think there is a problem with the IP of server.As far I know they are looking at it.
