Default Men of War Multiplayer Details

Multiplayer mode is a very strong part of Men of War. It supports real tactics and strategy gameplay, while the player has no need to learn hot-keys and maps and isn't punished for not rushing.

The outcome in online matches in most strategy games is already known after a couple of minutes, but in Men of War it makes sense to fight until the end. A single infantry soldier can show what the last man standing is!
Please find further details about Men of War multiplayer here.

Why is the Russian multiplayer beta out and the international one not.
a) There is no Russian beta out.
b) The beta you can try out is a beta for an expansion which has less content than Men of War, it has a different name, is going to be released by a different publisher in totally different territories and therefore has totally different name rights and marketing schedules, but the multiplayer is the same. 2 Russian stand-alone-expansions for Faces of War are Men of War. (You save 10 bucks *hurray*)
c) It was easier to make a test with the Russian community first, since it is larger, more stable and the players knew the latest changes of the first expansion which is a lot different to Faces of War and beta 1.
c) Men of War is developed mainly in Russian.
d) It was decided after the release of the Russian beta to make a fully multilingual version instead of English only, which caused delays.

Why is translating taking so long
a) The beta is not first priority, but the final game.
b) Because the multiplayer localisation was not all that was necessary to translate, several hundreds of sentences were necessary to translate, since everything was done in one row, from singleplayer to multiplayer, from in-game videos to in-game texts in 5 languages.
c) The translation is done.

Why can't we report bugs
a) Some bugs are caused because of an inoffical translation
b) Some bugs are caused because of wrong language codes (since the game runs on cyrillic system settings)
c) We can't accept bug reports for a beta which isn't actually released, the Russian beta you play is not Men of War even if the international beta of Men of War will be the same.
d) Without permission of our publisher we aren't allowed to do anything, actually we should prohibit Western players to take part in the Russian beta, but we think it will cause frustration only.

Why isn't it out yet.
a) We had several discussions on the GC regarding what to do with the beta and how to make waiting shorter for your guys. After the GC we decided to release the international beta with a big news portal to offer the beta to a huge amount of players.
b) Setting up all this is not yet finished, we are hurrying, we want to release it soon.
c) DMS has little influence on how long this takes, I'm sorry.
