No, that is not the problem. The cockpit is too high in the Vc model, as I have pointed out a long time ago. If you use the external 3D model of the Spit Vc for reference, the PoV of the pilot already is outside and above the cockpit. The reason you can't see the engine cowling behind the frame of the windshield is because it is about half a meter lower than the lower edge of the frame. For the same reason the wings appear smaller.

The height of the PoV is fairly easy to judge if you check what portion of the prop you see when you switch off the engine.

It has been said on some forums that this could not be corrected because of problems with the 3D model.

Check out paragraph 18 of the terms of the 1C Company Forum rules and do a little research before you make another post like that.

Are you telling me that team included unfitting 3d model into the game ? Sorry i just can't believe that. They prove their obsession (and i mean in the best possible way) with perfection sooo many times that...

As for par.18 , there wasn't any false info from my side, only my opinion ( like a... everyone have one ) of how to fix problem (documented with pictures).

Pull some strings you have around here and BAN me !

threating isn't cool !!!

lol that's very true.
If one pixel is not right it cannot make it in.
Or so we are thought.

Yet we have this.
And all those other obvious visual errors.

Err......

What?

Something isn't really right in this picture.

No, I am telling you that this was posted on some message boards. I have no idea if the fact posted there is correct.

My fact: "It has been said on some forums...."

100% true.

Had I said: "There are some problems with the 3D model."

I could be wrong, because I do not know. So I didn't say that.

It's the small things.

Well actually your post doesn't break the par.18, cause you just made a suggestion, you didn't stated anything. So it's Ok, man.
