Thank you, Istvan. Another great work, as usually.

Thanks!

Just downloaded all the files, but just some questions:

1. Is the required SAS 4.12.2 Megapatch the same as "Official" 4.12.2 Megapatch? I already have 4.12.2. itself installed in a backup folder and was wondering if it was even necessary to download and install the SAS 4.12.2 patch at all.

2. As I type this, I'm presently waiting for the vp_modpack.7z.001 file to unpack into the new 4.12.2 folder I just copied from the backup mentioned in question 1 above. Do I need to copy (just copy, not unpack) the other fifteen vp_modpack zip files into the game directory? Do I just leave them in the folder where they were originally downloaded?

Just asking because it would be nice to read some brief notes on what needs to be done to get the mod up and running before I start the process. As it is, apparently it's assumed that the user already knows how to install mods for IL-2. Right now I feel like I'm just kinda figuring things out as I go along, and just "hoping" that I'm doing things correctly, as there is no guidance.

Thanks.

Treetop64,

2. According to this...

"The secondary goal is to create a package which is really easy to install, its a single 7z archive split into 700Mb parts, extracting the first part into your game folder will automatically do the other 15 parts too.
Single click install, no manual, no complicated instructions, just start you modact game with the IL-2 Selector.exe as usual."

...you can just leave them in the download folder since vp_modpack.7z.001 unpacks them all in one operation.

Thanks HW3, youre right.

I hope this helps if anybody else has install issues:

This is how to extract with 7z (www.7-zip.org/download.html)

Filesizes:

Make sure all the parts are 700Mb except the last part which is 2Mb. There should be 16 files and the patch.
SFV file verification: http://ulozto.net/xhVQNmpB/vp-modpac...erification-7z

Contents of the pack, these folders and files go into your game folder:
