Default impossible paladin - no use of runes!

After several no loss runs i was thinking about a new challenge (harder than before).
I found it - here the rules:

impossible difficulty

Forbidden :
- no use of any rune, that means NO skills
- no sells of any item or scroll

Allowed :
- you can buy what you want
- you can use any scroll

The problem is that you can't buy scrolls because you are maxed out early.
2nd Problem is that you will be run out of money if you loss units. No loss combats are important, only a few of them are not possible without any loss.

I choosed the paladin (maybe mage will be harder without magic) and could reach dwarves/demons/elves very fast. I stopped for nearly a month at the undead castle with its crystal until the paladin was high enough to get this castle with necromancers/demoness/demons. The clue were the necros to counter the crystal call undead.

Now i'm at the end, crossed the labyrinth and stand now in front of this big guy with his flying machine. Only 2 fight until the end.

Result: Paladin lvl 27
122 red, 195 green, 113 blue runes ... never spent any of them

What do you think about this way? Any other tried this?

If anyone need savegame, please mail me.
