Default Request: References for A and B camo schemes for the Spitfire.

Does anyone have any good references for the A and B camo schemes for the Spitfire? I have seen a few different versions of the schemes, and I'm unsure how accurate they are.

Is there any difference between early and later schemes (within the limits of the aircraft we have available)?

Thanks in advance for any help given.

No need!

I found them in the default skins. I'll use the examples there, unless anyone finds fault with them.

There were a few 'local' variants between the A and B schemes (repairs/replacement etc) but as a whole they were the same on all the aircraft in that type.
There were a few slightly differant lines but as a whole they followed a guide.
Rubber 'templates' were drapped over the base brown/grey/green and the alternate colour over sprayed, thus giving the uniformity usually seen.

Thanks. I'd like to see a photo of those templates/masks in use.

Interesting picture:

Caption reads: 'Painting the roundels on the wing of a Spitfire.
"This neat and housewifely woman is the mother of three children..."
from 'British Women Go to War'; photo: P G Hennell; Collins, London.'
