Default Cryostasis microstuttering

Hi all, my rig is:

e7200@3.5ghz
Maximus Formula SE
4gb Gskill
gtx280
Vista ultimate x64

The game is great but is not smooth. Even if framerate is high and never drops, i can see microstuttering as long as i move visual.
That's really annoying.
I tried driver 181.20 and 185.20.

I have no stuttering at all with my GTX 280, try to close all background tasks you can when running Cryostasis, including your AV software, and defrag your HD using a software like Diskeeper Pro Premier, see if it helps.

Hi, thanks for your answer, but the stuttering i'm having is not hard disk swapping. It's clearly a graphics microstuttering.
What driver are u using?

I think it's the lack of optimization of the engine. I have a 8800GT and I'm running exactly like that, no matter if it's on high or low, the settings doesn't make much difference in performance, just on visuals, so I prefer to keep the game maxed out.

Look my video here:

Yeah you are right , i have a 8800 gt and i am getting almost the same perfomance on low medium and high settigns. But it is better to play on high.
