Demo Crashes Upon Launching !!

There are other people having this same problem,,,,I've searched around and it's doesn't seem specific to hardware, as others reporting the same problem have totally different setups... it may be a Vista 64bit problem...Every time I run the demo, doesn't matter what setting I have it at, the initial black screen comes up, but it just crashes. You need to ctrl+alt+delete it to get back to the desktop. You also get the wonderful Vista error "Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason has stopped working".. I even had an extra hard drive, so I installed windows on it with all new drivers, all updates for Vista and I still get the same problem.... I even tried setting all defualt clocks on my overclocked components just for good measure... I would really like to play the demo, as i will more than likely buy the game... I posted this in a previous thread, but have not had any response. I thought this was the official forum.

System i am runnig:
e5200 @ 3.66 (orthos stable)
gigabyte p45-udp3
Vista 64 Ultimate (All Updates)
4gb ocz
2x4830 CrossfireX @ 750/930 8.12 drivers
