Mission objectives changable?

Hey all, is there any way to mod the mission objectives? Can you change the text in the menus? Can you change the objectives in the game themselves? Do you know if the triggers are what controls the objectives?

Yes. It's possible to modify objectives and menu texts. Also it's possible to create a new mission task in the existing mission.
