Default how do i get/make sure i have the latest proper conf.ini?

As the title suggests, seem to remember there was a thread a while ago about making sure you are using the latest correct version of the conf.ini, which i'm not convinced i have, any help appreciated,

If you want to make sure delete the "conf.ini" file in the "1C Softclub" folder in "my documents" ,start the game it will rebuild the config file. Set up options and quit the game. Now you can manually configure the "conf.ini" file manually if you want to.

I think in this way a game will copy a conf.ini from Steam folder to Documents folder.

To make sure you actually download the latest conf.ini you can remove and backup(!) both files (from Steam folder and Documents folder) and then check game cache (files) integrity in Steam.

The results may be the same but who knows
