Win7 RC1 Build 7100 x64 - Can't Load Game Problem

I am running the latest and just released Build 7100 Win7 RC1 x64 version from MS. I am using the latest beta NVIDIA drivers for Win7.

Now, Cryostasis will run fine, however, while in-game you cannot hit the ESC key, doing so will cause the game to lock up and freeze.

Also, when you start the game, in the main menu, you cannot load a game, loading a game will cause the game to lock up and freeze.

This makes it rather impossible to play Cryostasis on Win7.

A fix would be appreciated.

/Edit - It may not entirely be related to Win7, as I installed the game on an eniterly different computer, with different video card, running Vista x64, and I have the SAME issue, and that is a completely different computer and different OS. Seems maybe the game has a bug.
