Paladin's Intelligence not working

Okay,, I am playing the full version ( US ) and I'm playing the Paladin, I'm at Level 4 right now.. I have visited several places that give you a +1 to intelligence and I have an artifact that also gives a +1 to it, but it is still at Zero... Is this a bug ???

Are you sure you don't have any of those items equipped that lower your int by 1? I know theres a couple of them you get in the training dungeon you start in. The clay bowl and the wheel I think.

oooops... yes,,, there is a couple of items that are a -1 Intell... Since you lose your starting "training" units, I also thought those items were gone once you left training too.. my bad..
