Nice find. It's cool to see the evolution of the game like the blurry texture of aircraft (don't know if it's the guy who put texture to "low", but whatever).
And my FAVORITE PART : Fred: Did you ever consider commercializing the ability to make skins by releasing skinning tools, or skins packs for IL-2 aircraft? Oleg: Not really. If users have tools for free, they release more user-made content, and user-made content draws more people to the game; so by keeping the tools free you are in fact making more money. In your face "recents" games! Last edited by nic727; 11-20-2013 at 11:12 PM. |

LOL I like the that sentence, "The AI is so good that it’s hard to tell the difference between AI and human pilots online...." Please tell that to those AIs that got dragged into hillside by human players? Please tell that to the tail gunners that had sniper rifle scopes. Please tell that to those flak gunners that can blast a tiny fighter at 30000ft at one shot.

Alternately, look at the average of the suicides and the super-snipers and it might seem that the average human isn't that different, it's only when all the suicides are on your side, and the super-snipers are all enemy that it all seems very wrong.
