Default Money and inventory disappearing from car - mission spoiler

Has it happened to anyone else too in the vanilla game that when you complete the Krauf-escort mission and he gives you the truck, all the items in the trunk and the cabin suddenly disappear without a trace?

For some strange reason when I gave my Willis to the bartender in Puerto Vejiro and received the truck to drive all the contents of my Willis were transported into the truck. I then arrive to the destination (very annoying in guessing which of the "enter sector" pop-ups to select) and Krauf pays me by giving me the truck. Wasn't I supposed to be paid with money as well? Suddenly, wham, all the weapons and backpack disappear (and I had some pretty nice things in those backpacks and vests since I removed them from my squad temporarily).

On top of that for some reason I lost 20,000 eldos. Especially stupid considering I was supposed to GET more money, not lose it...

The disappearing items from the truck is a well known issue that had been there since the game was released. What you need to do is empty the car before you talk to Krauff in Cali-Cantinos. Since the HLA guys now have made a function that could solve this I might consider fixing it. But it'll have to wait until I have time. for boooring stuff

I think you're forgetting that you paid the border patrol a bribe to let you pass into Palinero. I think that's where you missing 20k went

Damn, I totally forgot about the bribe. Next time I'll rather just kill them than waste that much good money.

Yeah, thought of the option of stuffing the stuff into some box too late, because the last save before entering the final town was at least 4 hours old... so I had to redo many missions and then I got fed up with the Cop dying and installed BMS and restarted from the beginning.
