Specialization
Hi I need some advise on character specialization.
I have just brought Star Wolves 3 and was wondering which specialization would be good for a beginner. I have chosen the systems engineer is this a good choice? Thanks

Systems is an interesting choice. It gives lots of AMS ability and repair. Don't expect to get a lot of kills with "Hero" on it though as they are very weak combatively. Also I find that you get a good systems tech (or sometimes 2) in your roster of pilots. You really never need more than 2 systems specialists and taking more kills your combat potential.
Most folks like the gunner for laser specialization and easy kills. I'm not partial to missile specialist as after their missiles are used up they are even weaker than techs. I'm weird. I like the pilot specialization. With Ternie available so early in the game and her being a gunner having really strong pilot skills to draw enemy fire is useful and the pilot get extra shots in due to his mad skills. For me anything but missile is a perfectly viable choice. |

I use every time piloting specialization because the leader must to be the fastest ... all the pilots are guided by him....
