Actually its IGN, Gamespot, and GameRankings those are the review sites that drive sales. Getting a 9 on IGN or Gamespot or averaging a 90% on Gamerankings something that is much tougher to do(though no way this game averages a 90 on Gamerankings).

Gamerankings is far more more popular then Metacritic as far as sites that compile, and average videogame reviews. Also Gamerankings is totally fouced on videogames while Metiacritic is not.

As far as the game getting a 9 on IGN or Gamespot I would be pretty surprised if that happen. I expect it to get somewhere in the 8's on both sites.

Default Another good review

Rate: 8,8
site: www.xboxmaniac.es

And the site has been adapted to promote the game.

Whoever did the gametrailers review dropped the ball - showing the 3rd person view the entire review gives the impression this is strictly an arcade HOE type experience.

Seriously, leaving out the cockpit views?

Making screenshots is a time consuming task... we live in a world in crysis. Maybe 1C Company should send more and better images to compensate those situations.

Review came from Inc Gamers. BoP scored 8.8/10!
The verdict is: "A great game for any flight sim fan, does the name proud, and holds the IL-2 heritage high."

The Lost Gamer review - 9/10.
"All in all IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey is a fantastic title that has everything you need from a flight game, with its Arcade mode that allows rookie flight fans to jump in and enjoy, right through to its full simulator mode for the hardcore sim fans to finally get their teeth into, it certainly delivers for both types of player." - summarizes the author.
