Some good footage, reminds me of both” A dark Blue World” and “The Battle of Britain” I do however despise the use of rock music in combat movies or the display of weapons. “Awesome” it was not and will not be no matter how many years ago it was.

No I don't like the music either, but its watchable with the sound off.Don't quite understand that you don't like seeing weapons in combat movies? Did you mean something else?

I think what Viking is referring to the use of Rock music being played during combat films OR during the display of weapons. To some (myself included) playing certain kinds of music demeans and unrealistically dramatizes the real life experiences of war.

War isn't cool. War is not kick ass. War IS hell. While we honour the men and woman who sacrificed during these periods it's not appropriate to overly dramatize their situation with certain musics in recreations. (Just an opinion......not a hard fast rule for everyone.....just me.)

Thank you Robert, and excuse my unclear language

From one or perhaps both of the movies that I mentioned I recall they used some classic music during a combat scene. Made it in to a scary deadly air ballet and very clearly reviled the confusion and fear involved.
