Default Well, Santa arrived early....let's hope my new card will run CloD super-smooth ;)

I considered the 680, but when looking at the price compared to the 670 (4Gb) I just couldn't resist the 670.

Tomorrow I am cleaning the system, dropping in an SSD and this baby and going for an OC to 3.8Ghz on the Cpu....the times they are a changin!

Cheers, MP

I have a 580 with 4gb ram, would it make a big difference to get a 680? - Or 670? - What's the difference between those two btw?

My specs:
Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580
SSD

Get a faster CPU would be my advice.

I hope you are not flying online on the red side. With this hardware even your plane will fly faster!

Does that mean we'll hopefully see one of your movies done with CoD? Always liked your work, MP.

As an aside, I'd be interested in how this new card affects your editing. I'm looking to rebuild a new PC before X-Mas and I edit with Avid Media Composer. I could use a better system at this time for rendering effects, and compiling HD video image files/discs. I have a few nice ideas that I'd like to do with RoF and CoD, but having a less than adequate system crimps the creativity.
