My entry into movie competition
Hey all, I decided to have a crack at the movie competition, I was holding out for the patch but it never came. This was made on an older computer an
i5 750, 12gb ram and hd5850 gfx. There is some parts where the computer struggles but mostly good. This is my first movie so be gentle! |

Very good movie!.
The first 5 minutes are the best. Then the movie falls a little. But good job! Good Luck with the competition. PS: Don´t worry about Barfly´s movie. Luckily He isnt in the competition

Good Movie, but music not fitting the 1940's and italian 109's leave a bad aftertaste, imo.
Maybe it would be better to record in half or quarter speed to get rid of the stutters and then increase the speed for recording? Just guessing, i've read that would work somewhere.

Thanks for the comments. @Robtek- thanks for the advice, slowing the speed of the game for recording makes lots of sense

I agree with some of the others here, the first part is very good and the "Wolsey commits suicide"-track sets a very grandiose melancholic atmosphere - great choice. I found the Ramstien DM-cover that followed it, to be a little out of place. It didn't quite convey the drama in line with the moods set by the previous tracks. It would be interesting to see the effect of replacing "Stripped" with something that would build up slowly from melancholy over excitement/anticipation to drama/action. Can't think of any particular tracks right now though, but then again it's a lot easier dismissing a combination that has already been made, than to cook up something entirely new that perhaps might work better.
