Exclamation Technical problems and solutions!!! (all problems and errors are stored here)

Greetings all,

Just downloaded the demo and can't get the darn thing to run at all. It keeps asking for an activation number, which I obviously do not have. I've clicked everything and nothing seems to work. I'm running Vista 64.

Oh and it keeps saying this:
"Unable to access or modify the system registry. Make sure you have privileges to write to the system registry."

I've tried to run as an administrator too.

Thanks for the help!

I think you should write to our support team (support@1cpublishing.eu). Maybe the problem with support of Vista 64, but I don't know for sure.

The problem is really in Vista 64, the game doesn't support it unfortunately.

Ugh this is a major bummer. Well I guess I'll just wait to purchse the game until a patch corrects this. I was really excited for this game.

Exclamation Technical problems!!! (all problems and errors are stored here)

I am trying to run the English Demo on a Windows Vista box 32bit. I am running directx10 and recieve the following error when trying to launch the demo "This application has failed to start becuase d3dx9_33.dll was not found. " I tried reinstalling the applicatin and still get this. It appears to be a directx 9 errror. So my question is....Does this game support directX10?

thanks

I run directx9 and got the same error. I solved it by downloading that specific .dll and putting in the windows/system folder.

not the best way to solve it. You need to install DX9! DX10 is not DX9. Go here to download/install the latest version (yes this is required even on Vista).

Install DirectX End-User. You'll find it on Microsoft website.
