Default Black Six, where are you?

Nothing since almost two weeks now. Are you still there?

I believe he bid us farewell after the final patch was released on Steam...

BlackSix has alluded to the fact that he can't say anything until the official announcement. The wait for news makes it easier for the conspiracy theorists to support their negative agenda. BUT I do agree anything can happen at this critical juncture in the development.

His farewell post can be found in this thread:

No more info/feedback from the developers until after the official announcement of the sequel.
I myself had CLoD installed, but on standby awaiting the official released patch, which I have now, so maybe I can fill the wait with learning and flying this sim. Will be interesting to see how long it will be before the official announcement arrives.

If they did jump ship, they certainly have very poor timing. They've squandered their best time to jump ship, which was immediately after COD's release in the west. Instead they spent another million or two trying to fix the game engine. Their next best opportunity to jump ship is after the Sequels release, but their customers will look before they jump this time. Hopefully the Sequel will be financially successful enough for the investors to continue to fund the development.

That doesn't sould like he's gone. He actually says he'll be back with the answer some of the questions.

The way people have been banging on about his departure was like he said "So Long and thanks for all the fish!"

If there's a Stalingrad map in the sequel, Nov. 19 would be the perfect day for the Official Announcement since it's the date of Operation Up Ur anus.

Honestly I can't see the connection between operation Up Ur anus and this series ...
