Confused with SW2
i just beat SW2 on the corporate path and im a bit confused the title is called SW2 civil war and i read that Astra being the rightful heir to the empire established the new empire but none of that happened in the game. is because of the path i took?

It "already" happened in Civil War (the establishment of the New Empire headed by Astra). The confusion stems from how the games were renamed. The original games apparently ignore Star Wolves 2; the english versions count that one that's why our Civil War is Star Wolves 3.
Peek into the music files and you'll see them with their original Star Wolves 2 Civil War tag, even though the game intro screen tells us this is Star Wolves 3. Last edited by Trucidation; 09-17-2010 at 12:22 PM. |

i guess that also explains why the star systems are different in in SW2 than the other 2.

If you are playing english versions why are you mentioned title sw2:civil war?
To avoid such confusions the title has number 3 |

Now it's I that got confused.
I had played SW2 for a little time and didn't finish because it's impossible to play with the constant freezes. I had to restart my machine every 5 minutes... But in "SW3:Civil War" that I'm current playing, Astra is already the empress of the New Empire. I think this got explained in the end of the SW2 game, right ? |

Nope
There are 2 separate timelines SW1 -> SW2 and SW1 -> StoryMod "Legacy of the Empire" -> SW3:Civil War |
