Cant find any mines in "Behind Enemy Lines"

I have a minesweeper on the road where you are supposed to search for the mines but he goes up and down the road and doesn't seem to find any. is there some trick to it?

check here has we already posted on it. But, you have to search the road everywhere, on the sides, behind bushes, everywhere. Some of them are hidden pretty good. http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=6609

My problem is that i cannot find the damn minesweeper, searched every body there is but no German seems to carry one.

Mine detector/sweeper can be found in the boxes up the hill on the left (if you are looking directionally from the start of the mission). As I recall, they are behind the mortar crew and sniper in the tree.

You can find one in the back of the GAZ truck when you start the mission.
