Question about display posibilities. ..
Hello All,
Since I am getting ready to splurge for a new computer set up I wanted to ask about display options. Are there any tv's that have capabilities of providing excellent visuals for using with the IL-2 series of flight sims? If not, which monitors are you guys getting the best results from? I really appreciate your input! Thanks! Steve |

I use a Benq XL2410T monitor (120 Hz) - a bit old now, but excellent. Benq make newer 120 models now. Like all monitors it benefited greatly from calibrating.

I use a 32" Samsung TV, 100hz. I could never go back to a 'small' monitor now.

I currently use 32 inch TV that works fine until I've found a decent monitor. Unfortunately there hasn't been much progress in monitors for a few years as the industry concentrated on 3D features. That said companies like Asus are starting to incorporate Nvidias new G-Sync technology, which would be a must feature if I were looking for a new monitor.
My monitor search has been put on hold until I see how the Oculus Rift works for flight sims. I can use any old monitor for web surfing.
