its all still out of whack though... to be honest (for all those trying generic fixes) results won't improve without physically re-painting the texture tiles (the colour of the bare fields, the open fields, the grassy fields, the vege patches, etc, etc) and then also the "colour" of the forest needs to be mottled up.

hence why ive not released anything untill it all works together.. but darker trees is a good start and definetly worth using imo as all the trees are incorrect. but only compared to the default scenery.

Thanks Baron, good effort, looks better, quite good in fact

Now if you could do something about the 'Silver Birch' epidemic, some brown tree trunks might help, that would be cool too

BTW I think it's amazing what you guys are doimg with skins, sounds and graphics. All VERY much appreciated , thank you all

I did also darken the silver tree trunks, thankfully they are no longer shining like radioactive under the darker leaves.

Thanks for all the positive comments, esp from this tough audience!! It's quite difficult to make "global" changes in scenery that don't make CloD look worse over-all. If I can do one incremental change like this with acceptable results, I'll take that as a 'win' and rest on my laurels, and beta test other guys' landscape mods from now on
