My guess is that the anti-laser fields were designed to stop people from whoring lasers, as was the obvious thing to do in Star Wolves 1 and 2.
this is a good education indeed

so, if i use to 50% Anti-laser fields, the total result is 75%?

Donno. My guess is that they do not stack. In order to get the 90% bonus, you have to find the anti-laser system that reduces it by 90% (They exist, actually I found them to be quite common)

They do stack. Just try it, have one of your fighters equipped with one antilaser, and one equipped with three antilasers of the same type, then have aother fighter with lasers shoot at the two. The difference is quite obivous.

The anti-missile lasers are not 100% effective. If your fighter or mother ship get into the nano cloud (after the mission when Aliens engage the Berserkers lost all fighters in the cloud) better dock (fighter only). As for the duration don't know, but fighter with 1000 armor will survive barely, any less and allways dies if not docked.

The Alien rockets don't deal much damage by itself, but their effect is devastating. The good news is, that their effect is not so strong against the Mothership. The most safest way to deal with them is to use the Mothership as diversion (don't forget to equipt it with Tungsteen repair system) and then use your fighters to take out the bombers from behind.
