Axis planes only in multiplayer? What about a quick mode?

Really bummed to read in IGN's preview that Axis planes will be available in multiplayer only. I was hoping for an instant mission type setup where you choose the number and types of planes for you and the enemy and have at it. Is nothing like this going to be available?

This what Anton has said about flyable aircraft. My guess is probably all in free flight.

There will be more, than 40 flyable planes - most of them available for Training and MP, 12th in Campaign, and some others in Single missions.

Mission editor would be cool so it wouldn't matter what planes the campaign missions use or don't use.
