Lightbulb Mod: Refactored mod pack

Hi all,
I have created a single package to bundle up the refactored versions of a few mods. Here is the readme (also included):
Code:
Refactored mod pack u0
======================

This mod is a combination of these refactored mods:
 - Army Shop Mod
 - Rune Exchange (aka. Rune Changer)
 - Training Camp Mod

I created this package for your convenience. You do not have to use the items you don't want to, but if you want to have all these mods running at the same time, you do not need to go into the trouble of creating this package yourself.
This mod package does not offer any extras on top of the mods listed above, so read the individual descriptions of those mods for details.
You can find the original and the refactored versions here:
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=5640

Credits are due to SayNt for the original mods.

Updates
=======
u0 - Initial release. I contains Army Shop u5, Rune Exchange u1, Training Camp u1.

Installation
============
Put the mod_17_refactored_mod_pack.kfs file in the <King's Bounty>\DATA\MODS directory (if the directory does not exist, you need to create it).

Uninstallation
==============
Delete the file(s) you added during the installation.

This mod package is for the 1.7 English version.

Edit
Note: There's not much info about the original mods in the readme (what they do and how to use them), because it is merely a compilation. So, be sure to read the originals of the mods (and their own readmes) here, here and here.

The mods work great except for the dialogue/text, which just appears as lines of coding. Stuff like "chat_system_11111113_snap_0_answer_13". I can use the army shop easily without text, but using the rune exchanger/training camp is pretty hard to do.

Any idea what could be causing that?

Shouldn't happen unless Csimbi used some fishy text editor that made the files unreadable. Are you using any other mods?

Hi,
as Keneth suggests, there might be a conflict.
Did you modify the package? If so, compare the contents with the originals and see what's missing.
If not, it must be a conflict. The number 11111113 implies that the problem is with the army shop mod (either the original, or the refactored one). Check and make sure that no other version of the army shop is installed - KBMaster (or refactored versions).

Hello,
got a PM from linkabi9 having the same issues.
He has done some investigation, and came up with this solution:
Quote:
The prefix for the ".lng" text files should be "eng_" not "en_". I applied the change and now it works.
I have the collector's edition, patched to 1.7 English. All of my localization files (I mean the original ones in the game) are prefixed with "en_" for me. So, I am not having these issues.

Could others check this please and post their game versions regardless whether you are having the problem that NolatRebme and linkabi9 have identified?

Thank you.

Atari version uses the eng prefix, if the european version accepts both prefixes, I suggest we make eng the standard to avoid localization issues.

I have the Atari boxed version, and my localization files are of the "eng" type. How do I fix this mod? Please explain, I am not familiar with .kfs files.

KFS are basic Zip archive files, open them with WinRAR, 7-Zip, or alternative archiving software. Some archivers allow renaming while the files are compressed so all you'll have to do is rename all en_*.lng files to eng_*.lng, otherwise you'll have to extract them first, rename, and then recompress them into the archive.
