Yes, but they did that to avoid having a law stomped on their heads (and other editors' & studios')
and when you make such an engagement, it becomes somehow binding, even if not purely "legal".
The lawyers at Ubi must have been consulted on that one.

Yay, everybody can have happy thoughts now....will these changes do much for the multiplayer aspect of the game?

Just to clear things up for me:
Will this boost performance and cut the stuttering?

EDIT: Will the game finally be playable?

Thanks

You have the game installed then?

So you know how it performs on your system already?

Me? No. All videos I've seen include the stutter. I hope it will be fixed by the next update, as said.

That's a good start. Hopefully they make some progress on the memory handling issues as well.

Amazingly, things really aren't all doom & gloom given a bit of patience.

Yaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!

Such good news. Way to go guys. Its good to hear that Ubi is supporting the
effort to make this game a success. All the speculation was getting heated and
nearly outta control.

I have a simple question... (maybe a silly one for those who know)

When we install from DVD - the filter will be there right? But Steam will auto update
immediately after install with a filter "Switch" so we can choose to have it on or off?

Is that how it will work? Please can someone tell me if this is how it will work.
Thanks.
