Is there an advantage to using al troops of the same race?

Is there an advantage to using troops from just the same race? For example, going with all Elves vs. all Humans vs. all Dwarves - etc.

I know the Guardsman gives morale bonus to Swordsman and Bowman, but is there any other reason for going one race for the rest? Is there a hidden bonus?

all elves/dwarves army will result in a +1 to morale
and +1 morale has certain effect
increase chance of criticals
incease of damage etc
