Default Anyone noticed a difference in damage model latest Beta?

Hi All,
Flying the latest Beta for Red, I'm getting the feeling that there is a change in either: the damage model, bullet kinetic energy or a possible bug introduced.

Reason: I'm finding it much more difficult to either explode or tear the wings of the Ju-88's or DO-17's. Even the 110's take a lickin' and keep on tickin' moresoe than before. Ie., with the same convergence settings and loadouts, and aiming at the precise locations wherein bomber wings used to break off or explosions occur - I have been unable to replicate so far.

They appear now to take a great deal more punishment and eventually break formation and try to return to base. If I recall history, this is more realistic in that the .303's shot the crap out of the crews inside and eventually beat the bomber into submission rather than outright breaking apart as in cannon shells.

Just curious as I see no specific mention in the readme about those types of changes.

Cheers

if this is true, I think this is good. Heavy Bomber were too sensitive to damage.

109 fuel tanks no longer consist of wet paper bags.

As I usually get shot down online, therefore I also noticed a different damage-model in the spitfire.

Other systems now get damaged than the ones that were "normal" before (in a standard-getting-shot-down-situation).

As much as i can judge, it is an improvement...

This is very good... it was so stupid before with wings flying off he111s. Glad they fixed this glaring fault.

Also, pilot kills are easier... which is good as it was very hard to kill pilot of 109 before, despite 3000 rounds per minute raking the entire plane.
