All messages gone from screen and audio

Hi!

I haven't played IL-2 in quite a while but downloaded 4.10 to give it a go.
And now something strange has happened.

All screen messages are gone, except speed, altitude and heading. Those three are ther.

But I get no messages like "Enemy aircraft killed" or so. My gunners are not talking to me anymore. Ground control doesn't answer. Flightmembers neither. I get no text about throttle, landing gear, flaps, empty guns, overheating.. what so ever.
What has happened to my game?

To fix this go to your conf.ini

under
[Game]
NoHudLog=0 << set this line
NoChatter=0 << set this line

I hope you have a back up of your v409m

The conf.ini may have been corrupted with a dodgy v4.10

And, no, I did not take a copy of the 4.09m conf.ini. Yes, I know it's stupid.
