Default Starforce failed to identify disc in the drive

I have bought both the dawn of magic and fantasywars from a retail store. I'm on win 7 64x fully updated. Both games give this error. I tried to update starforce drivers from their site but no avail. Are these games not compatible with win 7? Are there any updates available for them that adresses this problem? Starforce website dictates free re-protection for previous titles if the publisher asks for it. Thanks.

And also it takes me to an information screen if I press information urging me to send info. Where will I send these?
