Default Steam version of King's Bounty: Crossworlds won't start.

When I open up the program, the game icon shows up on my task bar for a split second and then disappears and nothing happens. The game doesn't start, there are no errors, I don't see the screen change or flicker.

I have an i7 920 and a GTX 470 so I don't think my computer is the problem.

I tried verifying the integrity of game cache and defragmenting cache files for both Armored Princess and Crosssworlds but it didn't work.

Looking at the task manager, when I start the game, kb.exe shows up for about two seconds and then just disappears.

Try to set the resolution of your screen manually in the game.ini file which can be found in the following directory: My Documents\My Games\Kings Bounty Princess

Open it with notepad and change first two lines to your resolution.

Smth like this:
setf ~screenresoultionx 1280
setf ~screenresoultiony 1024

OK, I set the game to windowed mode in the game.ini file and got it to open. Then I switched it back to full screen in the game and now it's working properly.

Thanks for the help.
