Thank you.
What is IP/port number of this server? Is it playable without IL2 Selector?

What is IP/port number of this server?
Using HyperLobby: Ciel-De-Guerre Using the game client: cieldeguerre.servegame.org:21005 Ciel-De-Guerre is online every day from 06:00 pm to 10:00 pm Paris time (France). Is it playable without IL2 Selector? Sorry NO. You need IL2 Selector (no matter the version) to allow your client to use at least 512 MB of RAM. There are too much static and moving objects in each mission to be playable without. The IL2 Selector default settings work fine. Like SweetFX, IL2 Selector is essential to fully enjoy IL2, and is fully compatible with the stock patches. I use IL2 Selector (2.3.0) since 4.10m and the game version is 4.13.4m now like you know... I can send you some missions in order to test them without IL2 Selector. Thanks for explanation.
I use IL-2 Selector for BAT currently. There is "stock game" option in the drop list but it launches 4.12.2 by default and I see no options to change that. Should I put another installment of IL-2 Selector into 4.13.4 directory in order to start it via Hyper Lobby? I hesitate as don't want to create any issues. (And I assume that option "Hyperlobby starts IL-2 Selector" should be chosen).

dimlee,
Why don't you read the user manual? |

I did read the manual.
Simple question is apparently not so simple... Sorry to bother you. Forget it.

dimlee,
Please, forgive my impatience. Should I put another installment of IL-2 Selector into 4.13.4 directory? YES And I assume that option "Hyperlobby starts IL-2 Selector" should be chosen NO 1- Using the link, download IL-2_Selector_3.3.0.zip. 2- Extract all of it’s contents to your IL-2 game folder (where you want it to act, so Stock 4.13.4m folder). 3- Run IL-2 Selector.exe one time in your game folder (Stock 4.13.4m folder) and forget it. |

idefix44,
Thanks a lot for your assistance. So far this option does not work for me. 4.13.4 can be launched from IL-2 Selector installed in the same folder but it crashes after that. Might be user error... I will try again and if not resolved, will address in appropriate section of SAS forum. Thanks again for your help.
