http://translate.google.com.au/trans...hl=en&ie=UTF-8

For future reference, if you go to google, underneath the advanced search is "Language tools" which can help with translating websites/text.

Actually Morgoth, I think they are on the site. Not the site is has been changed to, but the original, http://games.1c.ru does list the games, however they are named differently for the Russian releases. (or diff games entirely but they look similar?..)

In The Rear of The Enemy: Saboteurs + Saboteurs 2= Soldiers Heroes of WW2 (Did Russia get a sequel we didn't?..Or was Saboteurs 2 a separate project with the same engine, Nike?)

Behind Enemy Lines 2 = Faces of war (I think?..What happened to 1?)

Behind Enemy Lines 2: Desert Fox = Men of War? (no in-game pics but the pics provided do look like MoW)

and finally, Black Jackets = MoW Red Tide

Atleast, that's what i gathered from having a look through here:
http://translate.google.com.au/trans...25C1%25D4%25D8

The multiple names for different releases has caught me a few times, i find a great looking game on a Russian site (with help of translation) and go searching, only to find nothing because the game has an entirely different name in English - Or, more likely, hasn't even been released outside of Russia (or other nearby places).

But if thats the case as you say,why is it that the games release are called the same name for every other country in the world it is sold in,except Russia?

You expect a logical answer? They are Russians!

At first i thought it may just be the translation (done by google) which results in the names being way off the mark, but it actually does appear they are named something else entirely when sold in their home country.
My guess (keyword, guess..) is that the words either have different meanings, and so they rather stick to their native language to convey the right message, or it could be a choice made by the publisher who decides the name won't attract enough attention and want it changed. Or..They just want to trick us English speaking folk and make us go on a wild goose chase for an awesome looking game...I think the 3rd option is most believable.

As an example, have a look for Man of Prey - It's still not available world-wide, but it's available on the Russian 1C shop site, under a different name:
http://translate.google.com.au/trans...hl=en&ie=UTF-8
It's the same game, but they are advertising it to the English speaking world as Man of Prey. So if we wanted to buy it, even in Russian, we wouldn't be able to find it.
