Default Mehgard?

I would like to ask those of u who have finished the game : what can u do in Mehgard? What is the steam armor... etc....etc.Spoilers welcomed!
Ps. on the Ws. Islands there is a old orc with the qwest sign on his hed but when i talk with him all he sayes is to go away!

Yeah I'd appreciate any thoughts here as well. I went to that area, did a "meh" and then went back to the more exciting places.

"Meh" gard indeed.

No, it's not very interesting. A few tough fights, a broken 'Thunder Can' and a few chest and runes. Only worthwhile if you are xp hunting like I was.

Spoilers (in white):

There is NPC which gives you storyline quest part (to get labyrinth key) in Mehgard.

About old orc: You could take that quest later in the game.

You can buy two interesting equipments here later. If you play "slow defense" these items can proof very useful.
