Default better tactics to take down Godor??

wondering to know if there is any better way to take gotor down? which kind of magic or melee weapons are more effective? or which character is more reliable for attacking him? i will write my opinion after trying a few more times, so please share your own tactics. besides i think it's impossible to kill him and his punishers and that blue thing before moving by train to telle? am i right about this? thanx

it's all about how do you upgrade your characters just like every other rpg but i think due to the magic nature of the enemies in this battle (punishers and gotor)melee is much more effective but you have to support your characters by restoring their health by magic and potions. of my 4 people,3 fought in melee and one of them used magic to help them gain health.is there anyway to kill them by magic?

4 people? If I re, I only had Rada+me during the first encounter, and Telle poped up for the 2nd round, which makes 3 people at most...Who's number 4?

As for how I defeated him, simple: send everyone (2 close range fighters) on the weak mages, then on the summons&melee_ers, and then on the boss.
Add one healer/artillery mage for the 2nd round.

When I fought Godor I was lvl 6-7 (I don't remember) and he was lvl 10. Later on I found out that even if I do all the side quests I find (about 3-4 per town), I am always underleveled; ie: I'm currently at lvl 33-34 fighting against lvl 38-40 AND shops only have items for level 38+. Does that also happen to you?

#4 is Outskirter. He's one of the bandits that attack you when you're leaving lake in the beginning, choose to listen to the voice and tell him he's your slave and he'll join you after you sleep at the inn.

Also you can have Telle from the start of the fight... just tell Gotor that you're just escorting a girl and Telle will pop up behind you and say that was noble of you.

I just potionspammed my way through that fight btw... wasn't a biggie. Though I think my first character isn't turning out so well... (sword&board fighter type, though with dagger/rada's blade for a bit of speed).

I was looking through the weapons at merchants and the combat circular saws looked interesting(very fast vs normal for dagger), so I made a second profile and tried that out, put everything in mechanic/retractable blades, speed-ran the encounters along the road(and did the axe mini-quest), bought a lvl 2 circle saw... and wowie. From then on it's been easy mode. Level 8 bandits by the lake? Cake at lvl 4 with just Telle for companion, Gotor and company? Cake.
