Default Difficulty level - whats the difference?

Hi folks!

I bought this game recently at steam and after a short but though learning process I feel now quite (too) comfortable playing on normal. Now Im wondering whats the difference between normal and hard?

Btw: Is there any difference - regarding difficulty - between the campaigns?

Cheers

I would say the Soviet campaign is easiest but the longest. On easy you may get a T34/85 but a T34/57 on hard. Less units, more enemies, more frequent waves, less ammunition and smarter AI the harder the setting.

Would you say easy is to easy?

Im stuck on the second soviet mission, but I would not want to miss that feeling you get completing something very hard, although I could settle for a little less intensity from normal

Kai.

Response time, chance to run and throw back grenade, caution after first alert, remembering where enemy units were, reload more often, etc.

The difficulty level should work the same way in Red Tide, Assault Squad, and Vietnam.

The types of units change in higher difficulty. IDK what difficulty it appears but in Borgs Last Fight there is a Centurion the Brits get. The Airstrip there is an Elefant and on The Crossroads there is a Jagdtiger.....I will have to play this game on normal at somepoint...been on easy this whole time...

Try the German bonus where you defend the French town on hard. Its had some changes since 1.17.5.1.

On Vernon you also get only a Tiger I on hard difficulties while a Kingtiger on easy.
