Default Faces of War, Men of War....Theatre of War?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theatre...(computer_game)

How many times are you going to release the same game?

Why so many publishing companies?

Where's the patch?

Red face

Well first off, Theater of War is published by 1c but was developed from a different software company and nothing to do in this mix.

Soldiers WW2 released
then they redid the engine
and called it Faces of War
Faces of War released
and then they did addons or something for it...
then packaged it all together
and re-released Faces of War + Expansions
as
Men of War...

Confusing.. yes...

Men of War is the final (hah) mixture of all of the above
mixed into 1 game...

It was already stated, that MoW and ToW are very different games each with unique gameplay, the only similar thing is the setting (WWII). And also they are developed by absolutely different companies. And we will continue making quality and interesting games about WWII, as there are a lot of gamers, who appreciate them.

The main difference between ToW and MoW is that ToW is more tactical (where you pause and give orders, repeat)... and MoW is RTS (real time strategy). You can pause and give orders in MoW, though.

Let's just all rejoice that we have MoW ! As far as I am concerned Soldiers HoWW2 was my road to Damascus moment with pc gaming and I will always be grateful to the makers of that game. FoW was a little bit of a letdown however we are back on form with MoW. All those moaning minnies re skirmish&patch; no game perfect but I am delighted to see mods from the community striving to enhance this magnificent game further. Rejoice !

Seriously... for $29... this engine alone is worth it...

Free editor... pretty easy to figure out...

Can play real time IN the editor for testing... yeah it rocks!

The golden egg here isn't in the so so cut scene voice acting or the
limited # of sp missions...

The real gold is the MP, SP expandability (mods!) and future of the engine... adding Japanese and more!

This engine is what Battlefield 1942 did for the FPS market...

Men of War's engine has added a new platinum hit to the RTS market... and opened simple doors to modding it... and we all know easy modding leads directly to vast indirect sales (more income)!

YAY! I loved CoH but now that is rubbish compared to the POWER of the Men of War engine...

Plus it is just amazingly fun!
