Where did you get this error, making a map, starting Men of War, or in MP?

possible y have 2 different mss32.dll files on your harddisk.

1. go to install directory from men of war (check properties from mss32.dll) must be the same (version, date, size) as picture.

2. search your harddisk for other mss32.dll files and check version, date, size. delete this files or replace this files with mss32.dll from MoW folder.

other programs (eg. WinAmp) install an "old" version from mss32.dll to your harddisk - possible game will use this file and get an error.

that's very misleading suggestion

1. many games using Miles Sound System, so mss32.dll is quite common on many HDDs and suggestion like this would lead to unskilled person erasing it / them all rendering his titles unusable
especially if these games using different major version of mss32.dll than MoW

2. if any software or game installs mss32.dll e.g. in %windir%\system32 then game will still first use mss32.dll in own directory (same goes for opengl and directx libs etc)

3. the only acceptable solution would be removal of %windir%\system32\mss32.dll if present (after backing it up)

sidenote:
the mss32.dll used with Men of War is quite outdated (known instabilities and memory leaks)
and it's quite shocking that Best Way not updated it to latest 7.2.6.0 build which was 7.2g (no sure if v8 would be free of charge to uprade to)

normaly password and mow-nick are saved in ...my documents\my games\men of war\your profile\setting.set.

do you have this folder? yes. create new mow profile and copy settings.set to mow profile folder.

or...

login at Game-Spy-Homepage (I forgot my password) with your email adress bound with mow-account.

or...

download and install gamespy-comrade-software (Klick-Me) and change your password.
