Beta - Official Upgrade Proc?

With Steam 'on-line', will CloD get the official update before I have chance to verify the game and revert back to pre - beta?

May be someone could explain what the correct procedure is if running the latest Beta and the official patch has been released.

Some say that you can just let the patch install and then run the steam check... Personally I make a copy of the il2 folder pre patched and replace the modded version with the none modded.

Steam does the whole automatic verification of your files first before installing the patch.

You should however clear your shader cache in the 1csoftclub directory

Thanks guys....pretty sure that in the past I just let the update overwrite the beta but best to check!
