Yes and no. I mean they all essentially break off at the same sections as far as I know. It's just what section will break off that is random. The damage isn't dynamic or anything.

Cannon damage is set like il2 but fire from is MG is real time that is a big step up from il2 but understandably cannon damage would be very hard to show in real time.

This DMG by the way is from a collision..it looks like it's been peppered with MG too but this is solely running into something that caused this DMG

From what I figure the tire or maybe even some of the gear should have been torn if it wasn't in that position prior to the hits and I doubt this? But only you can answer that question.
