Default Help: Low FPS problem.

Hi guys,

Just got a copy of the game and I love it. Game is brilliant but I am having a small problem.

I am playing on maximum @ 2048/1152 however my system specifications should easily cover it. my system spec's are bellow.

AMD Phenom II x6 running at 3.3ghz
8gig DDR3 dual channel 1600 Ram
Sapphiretech HD5850 Gfx card 2Gb DDR5 Core/765-Mem/1125

I get avg FPS of around 30-40 but if I zoom in it could drop as low as 10, however the game does not seem slow/laggy/have problems playing, I do not believe it is the card as the avg GPU load is only around 30%, it actually uses a higher load in the menu when setting a custom game up,

Help appreciated, cheers,

Is common, happen also to me: low fps also if in reality the images are fluids like in higher FPS. try to disable shadow and grass effects. I suggest also pseudo hdr disable.

The thing is I don't think I need too as the game isn't even stressing my GFX card, I will try it but my card is one of the best on the market so I do not see the issue being with the card itself!

Cheers. Just finished playing a custom battle, didn't lose a single unit

I think this is due to very performing programming of graphical engine, very unusual for western made games which normally request requirements heavier), so is possible the framrate appears lower respect that was real.

Try the campaign (espcially from the fifth battle).

If you want test the multi I'm always ready for a match.

I'm building a web site for the game (started yesterday), if you're interested.

Absolutely, Bookmarked it an looking at it now, nice one, I wouldn't mind unit list, I want to try and find the country/teams with the best Archers and Pikemen but searching them all is a pain, lol

Cheers mate!

Not heard much about XIII Century, is it any good? it'd the predecessor to RW1242?

Edit to Add - I would love a game like this set in BC era, Spartans/Athenians etc with Phalanx's

THe games shares the same engine, and are fully compatible in multi. The difference is the singleplayer campaign of RW1242 which is not present in XIII. So the strategic guide concepts are valid also RW, (I created also the addendum file for fill the gap)
