Online Play - Reveal Map Upon Death?

I had a question,

I play Men of War Lan with two other close friends. Typically by the end, one player dies and has to wait ~10 minutes until the other two players kill each other. But in the mean time, that single player cannot view the map and is left doing nothing but listening on the mics.

So my question is: Is it possible for a player whom has been defeated - as in, can no longer spawn units, to somehow be able to view the map?
